Simon Lenten Integrated Service Delivery Manager
Simon holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Diploma in Community Services. He manages the North East Child FIRST, integrated practice and continual quality improvement systems at the Children’s Protection Society.
His achievements within the social services sector span twenty years and he has worked in a range of settings, focusing on the child protection, homelessness, mental health, corrections and community development disciplines.
Simon has worked for a number of organisations including the Department of Justice-Corrections Victoria, Salvation Army, Anglicare Victoria, Kangan TAFE and the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Social Justice Consultative Council (SJCC).
A commitment to integrating service responses to meet identified needs is a guiding principle in Simon's practice. This was evident in the significant part he played in successfully establishing the Department of Justice’s Wulgunggo Ngalu Learning Place in Gippsland, a residential diversion program for indigenous men subject to community based orders.
Simon’s skills in communication, stakeholder management and community engagement are invaluable to CPS’s strategic growth into the future.
