Bank staff make big deposit

July 23, 2018

A regular and most generous supporter of CPS, the Commonwealth Bank Staff Social Club recently kicked in a tremendous $10,000 to partially support the creation of Melbourne first sensory room for child therapy.

The room (currently under construction) facilitates the learning and practice of stress/arousal management skills in children who have suffered trauma, emotional or physical harm.

This form of therapy creates an environment where the child becomes the enabler, and provides an alternative way for children to communicate and overcome their difficulties. As a result, children will exhibit improved attention, alertness and focus, reduced arousal, improved social relations and cognitive functioning over time leading to improved therapeutic case outcomes.

If you would like to joint the kind staff at Commonwealth Bank and make a tax deductable online donation to help CPS fund the project, please follow this hyperlink.
