Become a CPS AngelFrom its very beginning in 1896, a succession of Angels has watched over the Children’s Protection Society. Angels such as Lady Sybil de Vere Brassey (our founding President), Anne Clemens, Dame Elisabeth Murdoch, Neil Westaway and Charles Tegner have ensured that the Society has had the vision and the means to protect and support the most vulnerable children in our community. They have had the courage to engage in one of the most difficult problems of our community – the abuse and neglect of children – and the foresight to realise that they could make a difference.
The generosity and leadership of our supporters has made it possible for CPS to work with vulnerable children and their families; to start Victoria’s first specialist counselling service for sexually abused children; and to invest in early childhood education.
Help us realise our vision that All children will live and thrive in safe families and communities.
